Children are being fed at Vitamin A to the children all at once

Jhenaidah correspondent Jatiyadi Civil Surgeon Dr. Rashida Sultana inaugurated the National Vitamin A Plus Campaign 2015 Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shammi Islam as Special Guest. Among others, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Md. Sajjad Hossain was present. Presented by Dr. Prasenjit Perth, Dr. Gulshan Ara Lima and Md. Monir Hossain, statistician.

At the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Rashida Sultana handed over the caption to the child's face. He said that due to the absence of these vitamins, the child is suffering from severe blindness and night sickness that is why this Vitamin A capsule is being fed. He also said that vegetables and fruits should be eaten regularly, which will prevent the disease.

Today, on Saturday (February 9th), 200 million babies are being fed vitamin A 'capsules all over the country. Under National Nutrition Program, 2.5 million children aged 6-11 months and children of 12 to 59 months of age are being fed blue and red capsules.
